Today in Spain they are sold in a salty solution in jars (like olives and pickles) or bags and can be eaten with or without the skin. They are popular as a bar snack with a cold beer and are very moreish! Lupin beans are also popular amongst vegetarians and vegans as they contain the full range of amino acids. Drained weight, 400 g.
