I was really looking forward to this new shipment from my current supplier, and I'm glad they finally made an effort to deliver what promised.

My dog absolutely adores these treats - they're just the right size for him, even though they're a bit smaller than expected, which is why I said so on the packaging. It's clear that the manufacturer prioritizes their product's quality over quantity, and I appreciate that.

I've been putting off making lunch for my 27kg Saluki cross, and I was worried about running out - after all she eats around 800g per day, plus treats, and seems to be in prime condition without gaining a single extra pound. So when the guide printed this food warned that it would only last less than two days if fed exclusively, I thought £10 per day was an absolute steal considering the cost of making my own meals for her is just £1.50 per day.

If you're looking to stock up on healthy snacks like this, then yes, go for it - and at £19.99 a pack, that's certainly not cheap. The price might be out of your budget if you're watching your wallet closely, but I've been happy with the value for money so far.

I did try feeding my dog some of her favourite canned food, Lilly's kitchen brand, to see how she would react, and while it was a bit pricey at £8 per day, I do think she really liked this new type of food. The instructions said to mix it up with a small amount for her to taste, which is exactly what I did - using a tiny bit to give it a go.

The porridge-type consistency made me wonder if my dog might have some sensitive stomach issues, but the smell was quite fishy, and I didn't see any signs of discomfort after eating it. That being said, I'm not convinced that this food is the best for her - she's still picky about her food, you know.

If you're a dog owner who eats less than mine, you might be able to get away with paying more for this stuff. But if your budget is tight, or your pup doesn't like the taste of fish-based foods at all, I think it's worth sticking with my own homemade meals - and I'd give them four stars even without considering the price.

I've had great success with their dog food, and my picky eater has finally warmed up to it. The new packaging looks a lot different from what we were expecting, which has helped ease some of the transition for our household.

This food is definitely a step in the right direction - I was pleasantly surprised by how much my dogs have enjoyed eating it so far.
