Fruh Kolsch is brewed at the Cölner Hofbräu Früh brewery, which was founded by Peter Joseph Früh in 1904. In order to brew kolsch, you must adhere to one simple rule, you must brew in Cologne. Whilst plenty of other brewers across the world produce kolsch style beer, they cannot call it such, making it a style that is very much in demand.
