To make delicious appetizing gravy take one dessertspoonful of flour, smooth down with a little water, add half a teaspoonful of Comptons Gravy Salt and a large cupful of hot water, mix with the meat juices in the frying pan or roasting tin and bring to the boil. Use more or less Comptons Gravy Salt according to taste. If the Gravy Salt goes hard, place it on a steamer pan over hot water and leave it to cool and soften overnight.
